Privacy
The short version: this site is a set of static pages, it has no accounts, no forms and no adverts, and it is not trying to find out who you are.
Who is responsible
Learners Insurance is published by Domain Farm Ltd, which is the data controller for the little data this site involves. Contact hello@learnersinsurance.co.uk.
What we collect
No account, no login, no newsletter, no contact form, no comments. We do not ask you for your name, your email address, your licence details or anything about your car, and there is nowhere on this site to give them to us.
If you email us, we hold that email so we can reply to it. That is it.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs: the page requested, the time, the browser's user agent and the IP address the request came from. Those are kept briefly for security and to see which pages are being read, and they are not used to build a profile of you or combined with anything else.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.
What we do not do
No advertising network. No third-party trackers. No pixels. No fingerprinting. No selling or sharing of anything about you, because there is nothing to sell.
Links to insurers are plain links with no tracking parameters attached.
When you leave this site
Once you click through to a provider you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not ours. We have no visibility of what you do there, what you tell them, or whether you buy anything.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to us processing it. Email hello@learnersinsurance.co.uk and we will respond within a month. In practice, unless you have emailed us, the answer is that we hold nothing.
If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
