About Learners Insurance
What UK learner driver insurance policies actually say, compared from the providers' own documents. We do not sell insurance and take no commission.
Why this site exists
Search for learner driver insurance and page one is insurers, brokers and comparison sites. We measured sixty of those results: every single site ranking either sells learner insurance or is paid by the firms that do. The only thing on those pages that is not somebody's sales funnel is the occasional Reddit thread.
So there is no independent reading of what these policies actually say, and the policies differ in ways that matter. One provider caps you at three hours of driving a day. One stops at age 34. Several will not cover your own car at all. Those facts are all published, and nobody had put them side by side.
What we found that surprised us
Four of the fourteen providers are really two. RAC and Aviva both resell Dayinsure, and Admiral's own learner page sends you to Veygo, which is Admiral Group. A learner diligently collecting three quotes from RAC, Aviva and Dayinsure is collecting one quote three times, and none of those sites tells them.
Who writes it

He is not an insurance broker, an adviser or an underwriter, and this site does not pretend otherwise. Nothing here is a recommendation about which policy to buy. What the site offers is the reading: every fact on it is taken from a provider's own published material and dated, so you can check it.
